京都大学 Hirotaka IHARA教授来我校作报告

1217日下午,应化学化工学院、保水化学功能材料甘肃省国际科技合作基地、甘肃省生物电化学与环境分析重点实验室、生态环境相关高分子材料教育部重点实验室、甘肃省高分子重点实验室邀请,京都大学 Hirotaka IHARA教授教授来我校作题为《Photo-functional Supramolecular Gels》的报告,化学化工学院教师、研究生100余人在新校区特教楼159教室参加了报告会。报告会由薛中华教授主持。

 报告中,Hirotaka IHARA教授系统地讲述了利用小分子构筑的超分子凝胶在发光材料以及在高效液相色谱分离方面的应用。报告结束后,Hirotaka IHARA教授与在场的师生们进行了学术讨论和交流,并且对在场的老师及学生提出的问题做出了详细的解答,并就学院在有机化学学科的发展、学科建设等方面进行了深入的交流,并提出了宝贵的意见和建议。

 报告人简介:

Prof. Hirotaka IHARA received Ph.D from Kyushu University in 1982 under the supervision of Prof. Toyoki KUNITAKE. He became Assistant Professor in Kumamoto University in 1982, and has been working as Professor of Kumamoto University since 1997. He was also Professor of Kyoto University (2001) and Kinki University (2007-2012), He was a Visiting Professor at Kyoto University (2017-2019).

His Honors, Awards, Fellowships (selected) were as follows: Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry, UK in 2004; Fellow of the Society of Polymer Science, Japan in 2016; The Award of the Society of Polymer Science, Japan in 2015; SPSJ Award for Outstanding Achievement in Polymer Science and Technology, Japan in 2019; Oversea Research Fellowships: University of Arizona (USA) in 1989 and 2005 by MEXT/JSPS; Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology (Russia) in 1999 by JSPS; Russian Academy of Science (St. Petersburg) in 2004 by JSPS; University of Bordeaux (France) in 2011 by JSPS.

He published more than 340 papers and 100 patent applications. His main research fields including self-organization chemistry, nano-structral chemistry and functional polymer. Other fields, such as molecular technology, particle technology, separation technology are also his research interest. In addition, current research interests have functional nano-sized to micro-sized materials, supramolecular gels, π-conjugated, carbon-like materials, organic-inorganic hybrid materials and bio-inspired smart materials.
